Mission

Royal Fox FC exists to create a fun and safe environment for kids to develop valuable life skills through the beautiful game of football (soccer).Our goal is to nurture growth by pushing players to achieve their absolute best physically, mentally, and emotionally in a positive and uplifting manner, continually preparing them to attack and accomplish their next goal—in sport and life.

01. Respect

We desire to be a well-respected club. To achieve this, we must first show respect to:

Ourselves: Believe we can do hard things, never give up, and learn from our mistakes to achieve greater success.
Our Team: Listen to, empathize with, and continually build one another up.
Our Environment: Clean up after ourselves and take care of our equipment, facilities, and belongings.
The Process: Care about our players' development and well-being over short-term results on the pitch.
The Referees & Opponents: Stay true to our values. Persevering through bad calls and dirty plays by playing good clean football (soccer). Allowing our actions to speak for us.

02. Enjoyment

Soccer is a game, and games are meant to be fun. Falling in love with the game starts and ends with good times. If we're not having fun, we're doing something wrong.At Royal Fox, we work hard to promote a winning attitude and culture, and expect to see positive results on the pitch. However, fun is not defined by wins and losses. We believe it is imperative to teach our kids to find enjoyment in the process of growth and overcoming challenges, not just in the outcome of matches.

03. Encouragement

Cultivating a joy-filled environment must have a foundation built on encouragement. Learning new skills is often a daunting task, and adventures in sports can be exceptionally trying as every moment is a succeed-fail scenario. While success and winning feel amazing, failure and loss hurt. Development through criticism, yelling, and negativity can change behavior, but is ineffective and detrimental to long-term growth.Coaching is all about correction and can be extremely tough for kids to receive. However, by fostering a positive atmosphere where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities, we promote resilience, confidence, and a love for the game. Celebrating small victories and providing constructive feedback create an environment where individuals feel supported and motivated to push their limits and achieve their full potential.

04. Development

We desire to develop well-rounded little humans. Off the field, sports have the power to transform our children by building confidence, leadership, perseverance, teamwork, physical skills, and more.To create this transformation, we take a holistic approach to developing your kids on the field. From the earliest levels, everything we do is aimed at enhancing our players' physical abilities, tactical knowledge of the game, and decision-making skills. This allows for consistent development and ensures that we continue to build upon a solid foundation.Our focus is not only on training our athletes' abilities and in-game knowledge but also on empowering them to make decisions, learn from their mistakes, and promote growth within themselves. By fostering these qualities, we help our young athletes become resilient, capable individuals ready to face any challenge.

Wisdom on the pitch is about making the right decisions at the right time. It involves understanding the game, anticipating the next move, and making rapid strategic decisions. Our approach emphasizes teaching players to read the field, recognize opportunities, and make informed choices that maximize their potential.While not every decision will always lead to immediate success, making the right decisions sets the foundation for positive results. By focusing on these elements, our aim is to develop their mental acuity and strategic insight needed to excel both on and off the field.

02. Nimble

There is perhaps no physical trait more crucial for success on the pitch than being nimble. Having nimble feet and a nimble mind gives players the skills and confidence to conquer any challenge that comes their way.Everything we do is built upon maximizing each player's speed, agility, and reactions, both physically and mentally. Light feet and a quick mind virtually guarantee success, allowing our players to outfox the competition and achieve great accomplishments.

03. United

Unity is the cornerstone for success on the pitch. Every success and every failure is experienced as a team. We depend on every person to do their job, knowing that each player's contribution is vital to our collective achievement.In our training, we emphasize the importance of collaboration, trust, and mutual support. By fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork, we ensure that everyone feels valued and can reach their potential. With teamwork and by lifting one another up, we believe that incredible achievements are within our grasp.

Sports have been a life-long passion for me. Growing up, they were my world, and I learned many of life's most valuable lessons through athletic competition. Witnessing that same passion in my kids has brought me even more joy than those blissful years of the '90s and has reinvigorated my love of the game. More importantly, it has deepened my desire to use sports as a tool to help develop my children and their peers.Over the past four years, I've coached with and been a part of numerous clubs. However, we have yet to find the perfect fit, and with each experience, my desire to build a club has grown stronger, ultimately leading me to take action. I am extremely excited about this new journey and look forward to seeing my vision come to fruition as we develop tomorrow's generation. I hope you'll join me on this journey.
